OUR ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS AND POLICY
In order to implement ISO 14001, Image Print operates a clean, modern printing plant and everything from our paper, inks, machine heat generation to our delivery to your door has been considered and analysis is done on the process and products prior to it's addition our supply chain.
INK BRAND
Environmentally compliant global brand Inks (we use environmentally friendly printing inks)
PAPER SUPPLIERS & RECYCLING
We use EMAS accredited papers and FSC& reg; paper sources via our merchants who hold ISO14001 standard accreditations.
Chlorine free papers are also specified regularly.
All trimmings of paper are automatically fed into specially built recycling bins – 94%-96% waste is recycled and removed every two days saving land fill by up to 92%.
PRE-PRESS
There are minimal chemistries used in pre-press as our platesetter is thermal CTP and our proofing systems are sealed cartridges.
All chemicals used in pre-press are recycled.
Our FTP system enables more files to be sent via the internet saving fuel where possible.
